Kitsilano Showboat 2021 Season Update

Kitsilano Showboat starts it’s 86th anniversary season…virtually. Covid has done it to us again but we are not going to let it break a Vancouver tradition since 1935. Watch our performers from the comfort of your home again this since our stage is closed to prevent a crowd gathering.

Join us at beginning Monday June 21 at 7:00 when we highlight National Indigenous Peoples Day with the Eagle Song Native Mask Dancers.

Special shows will be held on Sunday June 27th as we celebrate National Multicultural day and on Canada Day, Thursday July 1st, starting at 10:00am with a children’s show followed at 7:00pm by an action packed evening of nostalgic music for the adults.

On Wednesday July 8th we will be hosting our annual fundraiser with R and Friends, so join us and donate to help sustain Showboat through these difficult times.

The Kitsilano Showboat runs every summer from June to August at Kitsilano Beach. Our mission is two-fold: to provide free multi-cultural entertainment to Vancouver residents and visitors; and to provide a venue for entertainers of all ages and abilities to perform at a world class venue. Kitsilano Showboat has been a Vancouver tradition since 1935 and has had multiple generations of families perform on the Showboat stage. Some performers who got their start on the Showboat stage have even gone on to become world class entertainers!
